For July 2020 Sweep, ‘GMA’ Beats ‘CBS This Morning’ in All Key Demos:

Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 

 

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” won the July 2020 sweep in Total Viewers (3.360 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA”’s victory marked its 9th consecutive July victory and 31st win in the last 33 sweeps overall in Total Viewers – since July 2012. “GMA” outdelivered NBC’s “Today” (3.307 million) by 53,000 during the month.

 

“GMA” decreased its Adults 25-54 margin with “Today” versus the 2020 May sweep by 10% (-79,000 vs. 88,000).

 

“GMA” (3.560 million, 896,000 and 559,000) beat “CBS This Morning” (2.616 million, 591,000 and 394,000) during the 2020 July sweep in all key demos: Total Viewers (+744,000 million), Adults 25-54 (+305,000) and Adults 18-49 (+165,000).

 

Emmy® Award-winning “GMA,” featuring the anchor team of Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Michael Strahan and chief meteorologist Ginger Zee, airs live Monday–Friday (7:00-9:00 a.m. EDT) on ABC. Michael Corn is the senior executive producer.
