‘A Million Little Things’ Grows to Its Most-Watched Telecast in 5 Weeks

‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Builds to a 5-Week High in Viewers

“Grey’s Anatomy” (8:00-9:00 p.m. – 6.1 million and 1.3/6 in AD18-49):
ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” grew over the previous week by 7% in Total Viewers (6.1 million vs. 5.7 million) to draw its largest audience since its season premiere 6 weeks ago and by double digits with Adults 18-49 (+18% – 1.3/6 vs. 1.1/6) to match a 4-week high – since 9/26/19 and 10/10/19, respectively. “Grey’s Anatomy” stood as Thursday’s No. 1 entertainment program among Adults 18-49 (1.3/6), ranking as the night’s top non-sports program for the 6th straight week.

  • On average during the first 5 weeks of the season, ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” is Thursday’s No. 1 gainer in TV playback (and No. 2 for the season overall) among Adults 18-49 with a lift of +1.0 rating points from L+SD to L+7.

 

“A Million Little Things” (9:00-10:00 p.m. – 4.5 million and 0.8/4 in AD18-49):
ABC’s “A Million Little Things” improved week to week in both Total Viewers (+7% – 4.5 million vs. 4.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (+14% – 0.8/4 vs. 0.7/3) to deliver its most-watched telecast in 5 weeks– since 10/3/19. “A Million Little Things” ranked as the No. 1 non-sports program in the 9:00 p.m. hour with Adults 18-49 (0.8/4), topping CBS’ comedies by 14% (0.7/3) and NBC’s comedies by 60% (0.5/2).

  • Through its first 5 telecasts of the season, ABC’s “A Million Little Things” nearly doubles its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating after 7 days of TV playback, growing from a 0.9/4 to a 1.7/8.

 

“How to Get Away with Murder” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 2.3 million and 0.4/2 in AD18-49):
ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” was up over the prior week by 5% in Total Viewers (2.3 million vs. 2.2 million) to attract its biggest audience in 5 weeks (since 10/3/19) and held week to week among Adults 18-49 (0.4/2).

  • On average this season, ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” more than doubles its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating, soaring by +120% after 7 days of TV playback.
